I think its interesting this photo makes me FEEL uncomfortable. ( I love it when that happens it strikes the question in me as to why?) The only thing I can guess is I question her age. If I were just looking at her face I would say she was 20 something and then I see her pose & clothes and it suggest much younger.

@Rabbit: You are right about her being young. One thing I as a foreigner have noticed about American children (girls especially) is that many of them have adult like bodies and sometimes act like adults even though they are not. This is usually makes me uncomfortable.

Beautiful portrait, Kanyi! Very expressive and strong - I like the hair curls. The contrast between pose, expression and her age makes a nice gestalt.
