Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaA great shot. I love the expression on the woman's face. The poor animals must have a hard time! 5 Apr 2008 5:31am @Michael Skorulski: yeah, people can sometimes be very insensitive. Ras from Plano, United States"I think the animals laugh at us deep down inside when we look like idiots and they don't have to be more than themselves. 5 Apr 2008 8:11am e. from New York, NY, United StatesGreat captures of their expressions. It feels like... well... a zoo. *sigh* 5 Apr 2008 8:53am Ina from Krugersdorp, South AfricaNice capture! Maybe we are the Zoo and the are looking into our caged lives. vu@granby - Wolfgang from Granby, Quebec, CanadaWho is making the monkey face now? :-) 5 Apr 2008 1:49pm @vu@granby - Wolfgang: you are so right! But when I think about it, all the amusement drains away. These people are enjoying the plight of an animal that is being forced to spend its life in a cage, at least partly for their entertainment. Essentially, these people are getting pleasure from another living creature's pain. It's worse that laughing at prisoners in their cells, since the animal in the cage is "innocent" and has done nothing that justifies his imprisonment. 1 May 2008 2:41pm |
