Massai Girl

To be honest with you I have not been really motivated to do portraits. I love making portraits, but they require a lot of advanced planning, thinking and driving.
TMI: I was loosing light, so we had to run to where the sunlight was. Lucky for me, the sun, her face made for a pretty sight.
The following series will be on of this pretty lady. I hope you enjoy them.

She deserves a series, Kanyi. She's BEAUTIFUL in the true sense of the word. I had no idea the Massai did all that beadwork, though. Kinda like our Native Americans in the States.

Me too I'm not an expert in portraits and human scenes, but I like watching naturel portraits without any studio techniques like this one. Very very beatiful colors and expression.

Can’t help but repeat what others have already said above. The lighting really sets this shot apart. A beautifully natural and truly heartwarming portrait. The Maasai really are an amazing and beautiful people.

You did a great job capturing this wonderful individual enhanced by beautiful light. You can't beat dawn and dusk. Where was this taken if you don't mind me asking?
I got to spend a few precious hours with two Masai warriors some 3-4 years ago. They were in England promoting awareness of the area they lived in. I was taking the shots for them to use as a self-promotion tool during their stay.
