A great sensation of liberty and isolation 26 Feb 2008 6:45am @Oeilonirique: It is a sunset, i'm too lazy to wake up in the morning and take pictures. dpm from malé, Maldiveslooks like you zoomed in quite a bit to get your composition 26 Feb 2008 6:50am @dpm: Yeah, it was a tough shot but let's just say i got very lucky. Ginnie from Atlanta, United StatesThis feels like heaven today, Kanyi, where my mind is after Mom's passing yesterday. We're having a bombastic thunderstorm right now and we're all laughing about Mom really making a ruckus "up there" as she's reorganizing everything. 26 Feb 2008 2:13pm @Ginnie: Hi Ginnie, i am really sorry about your loss. I am glad your mom did not leave without making a ruckus. Please hang in there. Reza from Montreal, CanadaWow! Very beautiful and clear image with wonderful colors. You are an awesome photographer. Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaA magnificent shot, very well composed. The only criticism I have is the page template of the blog is so white and stark, that it detracts from your photos (especially the lighter ones). 26 Feb 2008 8:00pm @Graham Russon: Point taken. The reason i like white is coz i'd rather look at an image which has a bright background. I feel that white keeps me hopeful, upbeat optimistic and not depressed. I have thought of changing to a black background, but this will certainly not give me the motivation to visit my blog or post pictures. @MaryB: Thanks MaryB it was a pleasure to relax and calm you down. standley from Brou-sur-Chantereine, FranceGreat backlight shot. I love the tones! 26 Feb 2008 9:35pm @standley: Thanks standley. Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomStunningly ethereal feel to this one. Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomGreat shot, there is a sense of mystery, the sign makes me think about journey, the sunlight directed to the viewer is warm and inviting, top shot. 26 Feb 2008 11:57pm @Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard.
