The Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad (reporting marks MKT) was incorported May 23rd, 1870. In its earliest days the MKT was commonly referred to as "the K-T", which was its stock exchange symbol; this common designation soon evolved into "the Katy". [Wikipedia]
It all looks so antique. The wagon, sign and clapboard siding stand out in excellent detail.

Amazing how things used to be built.....I wonder but doubt if anything from our time will be anywhere in as good condition in 150 years from now. Nice shot, I like the compositional elements here.
