@ChaCha: Thanks chacha! How did i capture it? Well, i boiled a couple eggs and one broke while in the pot. After looking at the broken egg for a while, i thought that it wouldn't hurt to take a pic of it. I then put a light over the pot and began to take pictures. This is what resulted from the photoshoot. Seaphine from San Francisco, United StatesWhat an incredibly interesting photo, Rags! I think if you use a pin or small knifepoint to make a smallhole one end, your egg won't split like that. 4 Oct 2007 5:10am @Seaphine: Thanks for the tip Seaphine! E Etomi from SwedenHmm I think breaking it was what caused it to split in the first place :). Interetsing 4 Oct 2007 5:14am @E Etomi: Thanks E Etomi! Catalin from Bucharest, RomaniaInteresting! but why People&Portraits? an interesting shot anyway 4 Oct 2007 5:58am @Catalin: I felt that the egg deserved to be shot the same way i would shoot a person. rainsocks from SingaporeVery interesting picture taken in the most interesting way! Good one, rags! 4 Oct 2007 6:02am @rainsocks: Thanks rainsocks. Its always nice to hear from you. @ColNed Pictures: Thanks e. from Washington DC, United StatesCool shot of an egg! Great way to represent the ordinary in an extraordinary manner. 4 Oct 2007 7:29am @e.: Thanks e. tyan from Singapore, Singaporethis is such a creative shot!I was thinking how u did it..trust u to take a pic like this!Superb!lol. Now can i eat the eggs? btw thanks a lot for your kind encouragement yesterday. You are right,my dear husband comes home to a frustrated wife ranting and crying at the top of her voice, plus his 2 little tyrants fussing, crying or bawling on the floor on bad days. It takes a lot of him to stay calm and soothe everyone, lol. 4 Oct 2007 7:53am @tyan: lol! DaveB from Exeter, United KingdomWicked shot, I hate when my eggs do this, although I tend to scramble them these days! 4 Oct 2007 8:28am Rob from Velveetaville, United StatesMaking extraordinary from the ordinary Rags! 4 Oct 2007 12:40pm Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomWow! This is an amazingly creative take on this everyday food, dear friend! Totally love the ethereal tones here and the absolutely brilliant composition…..you really have true genius and it shines through beautifully here, Kanyi!! 4 Oct 2007 12:54pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomThats an interesting one, the framing makes the shot work well, and the colour and texture of the pan add to the impact 4 Oct 2007 8:38pm Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaI hate it when that happens. At least you made good use of it. 4 Oct 2007 11:07pm HorseRotorVator from Newton, United StatesSuper duper capture! Wow! Nice one! :) 5 Oct 2007 11:32pm |
