Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaA charming, well framed double portrait. Obviously great rapport with the couple. I think, though, that more richness could be brought out in the colours by underexposing a little. This would also help you to gain detail in the brightest highlights. The only problem with this approach is that it would cause some underexposure in the man's face, which would have to be dealt with in postprocesing. It's still the way I'd go, myself. A pleasing shot as it is, in any case. 19 Aug 2007 7:25am @Andrew Gould: Thanks Andrew you have a point. I am NOT proficient in photoshop but i agree that this pic needs some work. But the, it's easy if you have two beautifl subjects.... I don't want this to sound as a put-down of your photographic abilities but rather as a compliment. 19 Aug 2007 2:20pm @Wolfgang Prigge: You are right! It really helps when the subjects you are shooting are cute, beautiful, babies or dogs. @Maysam: Thanks! Dawn Sutherland from Phoenix, United StatesLovely image of a beautiful couple.
