Poor Man's Christmas TreePosted by Rags (Plano, United States) on 8 July 2007 in Miscellaneous. December, 2006. Christmas was nearing and I was dead broke. With no money to buy a Christmas tree, and no courage to steal, I decided to make one myself.

Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesAh, but you'll remember this tree forever. While, if you bought one, it would be soon forgotten. And, you didn't have the "stupidity" to steal one. Good for you! You'll be far richer and wiser. Cool shot. 8 Jul 2007 1:56pm @Craiger: Great point. Anthony from Singapore, Singaporeman...can feel your feelings thru your words.... 10 Jul 2007 3:45am Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesMy first question, before reading the caption, was: is this shot "taken" or "invented." The caption tells me that it is both. Either way, the thought behind the "tree" and the image, is very inventive. 11 Jul 2007 1:20pm PsychGirl from Liverpool, United KingdomWell, its the thought that counts, surely? I like your tree, and I imagine there was none of the stress we have every year trying to get our tree up, decorated, and down again! ;-) This is a really well thought out shot, and I love the lighting.....:-) 14 Jul 2007 12:24pm Magda from Vancouver, CanadaFantastic image!
